SARATOGA COUNTY -- A man arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy said Travis Carroll is expected to receive the maximum sentence of five to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree manslaughter.

Carroll admitted to causing the death of Ryan Rossley, 27, who was killed in a hit and run crash in Saratoga Springs in the early morning hours of March 18. Police believe there was a fight between the men leading up to the incident.

Carroll will be sentenced on June 25.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey Hampshire, 29, is also facing charges in the investigation. He is accused of helping destroy and conceal evidence after the crash.
