SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Republican candidate in the race for the 20th Congressional District works to get his name out over the weekend.

Chris Gibson made several stops in eight counties, including a stop in Saratoga Springs. He said he plans to visit the remaining counties in the district over the coming days. Gibson said getting his message out is key to winning the election.

Gibson said, "We are convinced that when we get our message out and when voters see the clear choice before them, that they will choose us and will bring victory in November and begin to change the country in January."

Gibson is challenging incumbent Democrat Scott Murphy, who has events planned Monday in Saratoga County.
