ALBANY, N.Y. -- The newest incarnation of Albany's Lark Tavern could be open as soon as October.

The Albany Board of Zoning Appeals have approved the bar's new expansion.

The new owners have been granted permission to stay open until 4 p.m. and host live music.

The bar was devastated by fire last May, but about $1 million has been poured into its renovation.

The new establishment, which will feature a 700 square-foot kitchen, will be re-named "Flo's Lark Tavern."
