SALEM, N.Y. -- An ATV accident in the town of Salem leaves one man dead and another seriously injured.

State Police say Richard Gamache and Alexander Daniel were found lying next to the ATV when a delivery person arrived at a home on Route 30. The two men had been riding without helmets when the ATV became airborne and flipped over.

Gamache was pronounced dead at the scene and Daniel was air-lifted to Glens Falls Hospital. Both men were in their 20's and neither of them are from this area.
