Police arrest man after being shot
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Police arrest a man they said was seen running after he was shot twice in the legs on Morris Street early Saturday morning.

Albany Police said Jermaine Kornegay, 25, ran from the scene after he was hit, leaving behind six pieces of crack cocaine. After a brief foot-chase, he was taken into custody and taken to Albany Medical Center.

Kornegay is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police still have no leads as to who shot him.
