Investigators said Speranza was running an illegal prostitution business from his Loudonville home and advertising on the website Craigslist. Speranza and Hohler were arrested after investigators set up an appointment and went to the home on Knauf Lane.

Stings also took place at a hotel on Wolf Road where undercover investigators set up meetings with girls from two local escort agencies.

Albany County Inspector John Burke said, "I never remember arresting girls this young. Most of these girls were 18 and 19. Most of the time when we do prostitution stings, it's mostly older girls, much older girls."

Speranza was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail. The girls were issued appearance tickets.
