ALBANY COUNTY -- The numbers are in for this weekend's Albany County Stop DWI program. The 70th countywide DWI blanket patrol was conducted through the county by 11 municipal police departments, the Albany County Sheriff's Department and the New York State Police.

Altogether, police made 944 traffic stops, resulting in 21 drunk driving arrests.

Albany police and State Police Troop G had the most DWI arrests with four, while Colonie police had two DWI arrests. Cohoes, Guilderland, Menands, State Police Troop T and SUNY police also had DWI arrests.

The sweep began Friday night and ended early Monday morning.
