Barbecue hot spot open for season
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Meet Muriel Hine, otherwise known to her coworkers as, Moo Moo.

"It kind of fits in with the atmosphere, with all the beef and things that they serve and the milk shakes," said Hine.

She's just one of the colorful characters at PJ's BAR-B-Q.

There's also Britney Corsi, the vegetarian turned carnivore.

"I didn't like the texture of meat and then when I started working here, just the smell of everything, it smelled so good it made my mouth water to the point where I wanted to try it," said Corsi.

The man responsible for it all, the grill master himself, PJ Davis.

"We start off first gear in April. Second gear kicks in when school lets out but then third gear is when the track opens. So we're really running on all cylinders then," said Davis.

This weekend the entire staff is on cruise control. After a winter hiatus, the grills are fired up and open for the season. It's an attraction that brings customers closer to full stomach and not to mention warmer weather.

"Yeah we come down quite a bit during the summer. We enjoy it. We wait all winter for them to open up," said Tom Clancy of Saratoga Springs.

Diana Mager of East Greenbush agreed saying, "The food's great. Great chicken and it's a good time. It's a good place to be outdoors."

But celebrating 26 years in business takes more than just scenery and grade A meat. The recipe for success, just listen to Moo Moo.

"I think all the labor intensive work that goes into it to make it the very best, she said.

And that's no raw deal, just top notch customer service and satisfaction.

"It's neat working here. It's really neat. People are just so friendly, people come from all over. I wouldn't trade this anything," said Muriel.
