Hotline helps police catch abuser
COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York's child abuse hotline has helped State Police nab a 62-year-old man they say is a sexual predator.

Authorities say a call came in reporting that Anthony Borgia, from Clermont, had inappropriate relations with two 16-year-old Dutchess County girls. After getting a search warrant, police found three illegal handguns, more than a pound of marijuana, numerous pills, pipes, water bongs and $75,000 in cash at Borgia's home.

Borgia has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and marijuana and also forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned and sent to the Columbia County jail without bail, pending future court appearance.
