GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- The annual Toys for Tots Holiday Train is getting a jump-start this year with a hefty donation from a Secret Santa.
The U.S. Marine Corps received a $20,000 from Dunkin' Donuts franchise owners, saving a 10-year tradition that may have been derailed from delivering toys to children across the state for the first time in over a decade.
Dunkin' Donuts Field Marketing Manager Eric Stensland said, "Dunkin' Donuts are thrilled to join our dedicated Marines December 5th and 6th as we not only provide toys but also bring smiles to those children this holiday season."
By the end of its run this holiday season, the Toys for Tots Holiday Train will have delivered gifts to about 30,000 children in 12 different locations.
