Protestors take to the streets in Colonie. Many are unhappy with President Barack Obama's Afghanistan plan, and some are his biggest supporters. Curtis Schick has more.

COLONIE, N.Y. -- It's a noisy anti-war protest on Colonie's Central Avenue.
“Talk about a boon doggle, this is a boon doggle,” said Dan Wilcox.
Wilcox is with Vets for Peace and he isn't at all pleased with President Obama's plan for Afghanistan.
“I thought he was going to bring peace in the world. This is not doing it, sending more troops into the world,” said Dan Wilcox.
Dozens line the street. The signs tell the story. Stop U.S. wars, no occupation, and bring the troops home. All of this in response to the President's plan to send 30,000 more troops overseas. It's a surge that he hopes will help win peace, but it's something supporters of his Presidency call a betrayal.
“I was kind of guessing that as a President who just won the Nobel peace prize that he would let the facts change his thinking,” said Kim Panaro.
“I thought it was tragic. I had hoped Obama would be the change I thought he would be and I certainly love and campaigned for Obama,” said Dorothy Richards, Grannies for Peace member.
“I thought Obama would come up with something better than this,” said Wilcox.
The President says troops could start coming home from Afghanistan in 18 months, but for protestors here, one day more in that country is one day too long.
