SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A local church says 25 bikes, intended to be given out to local kids, were stolen on Friday.
The pastor at the Koinonia Christian Center in Schenectady says someone kicked in the door and took the bikes. They were supposed to be given away during the church's annual "wild jamboree" in September, to kids who wouldn't be able to afford one on their own.
Only three bikes were left behind. In addition to the bikes, several tables were taken as well. Anyone with tips or donations is asked to call (518) 772-5077.
