BROADALBIN, N.Y. -- The Broadalbin-Perth Sports Boosters are working to save youth sports in their community. They will be holding a car wash from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Firehouse on Pine Street in Broadalbin.

The car wash will be free, but donations are welcome. The boosters have raised nearly $20,000 to help reinstate the Broadalbin-Perth High School's fall JV sports teams. They still need to raise an additional $1,200 more by August 1. After that deadline, fundraising efforts will begin for winter JV sports teams.
