SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Saratoga Springs public safety commissioner is holding a public meeting Tuesday night to get into the minds of city residents.

Commissioner Christian Mathiesen said he's holding the meeting to get the opinions and views of residents of the Spa City. He said several things will be discussed at the meeting, including next year's budget, capital program as well as anything pertaining to the management of the city.

Mathiesen said he hopes the meeting will open a line of communication between residents and city officials. Tuesday's meeting takes place at 7:30 pm at the Saratoga Springs Public Library.
