Saratoga Builders Association raises $66,000 for charities

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Saratoga Builders Association raises thousands of dollars for two local charities.
The association raised $66,000 from its 2012 Showcase of Homes. Habitat for Humanity was presented with a check for $22,000. Rebuilding Together Saratoga received a check for $44,000.
Saratoga Builders Association Executive Director Barry Potoker said, "Both of them do terrific work in our community. Help people, keep them safe, keep them warm build homes for them, improve homes for them. So it really fits with what our mission is in the local area."
YNN is also a sponsor of the Showcase of Homes. Over the past 17 years, the Saratoga Builders Association has raised roughly $800,000 for local charities.
