ALBANY, N.Y. -- A crash on the Thruway closed the northbound lanes between exits 23 and 24 for almost an hour.

Police say Fred Jordan was driving northbound in a work zone when he swerved and hit a barrier. Police say a tractor trailer hit Jordan's car from behind, causing the car to overturn and come to a stop on its roof.

Police say Jordan and his passenger said they were in pain and were taken to Albany Med.

Jordan was ticketed for the crash.
