SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Lance Leonard, the man police say threatened to kill a Skidmore College student and then himself, was arraigned in Saratoga City Court.
Leonard was arrested in Atlantic City, New Jersey last week and was brought to Saratoga Friday night to face charges. The 49-year-old pleaded not guilty to coercion, stalking and harassment charges.
Saratoga Springs police say Leonard was having a relationship with a student when he started to make threats.
Leonard was remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail. He's due back in court March 19th.
Skidmore College was placed in a lockdown on March 5th while police searched for Leonard. That lockdown lasted about 15 hours.
