You don't need to belong to a gym, you can do this right out of home. It's a plank push up with a kick. We'll do it in pieces. First of all get into your plank position. Arms are going to be a little bit wider than your shoulders. Legs are going to be out. You're going to lift one leg. A little bit higher and point it out straight. You're going to push it up. Knee to nose. Right here you're going to engage the abdominals. Exhale. Kick it out. Here is the buttocks move. Up. Push it down. Up. Upper body, back, bis, tris, the whole thing gets hit. Here we go again. We're going to bring that knee in, exhale here, kick it, buttocks, upper body and down. Nice controlled movements. If you can't get all the way down in your pushup, go a couple millimeters at a time. That's absolutely fine or just hold it and you can just crank these out for your abdominals and your buttocks.
If you're a little bit more advanced or you're a guy who wants a little bit more of a fill in the pectoral area, put a little height in your heels. Toes up on a bench. Here we go again. Push it, up. This is the harder one, the decline push up. Again, little bits if you can't get all the way down. Exhale. Engage the abdominals, press it out, there you go. If you can do five reps of these, you're doing fantastic. What you want to try to do is two to three repetitions for beginners. Work up to fifteen as you get stronger. Your body is going to get stronger, and you're going to look better. While it is not a big time calorie burner, it will help improve your muscle tone, which then boosts your metabolism.
