GREENWICH, N.Y. -- It's been three months since the disappearance of Jaliek Rainwalker, and on Thursday, police turned their focus to two areas.
One of those areas is the house in Greenwich where police say Jaliek and his adoptive family were living at the time of his disappearance. Police executed a search warrant there Thursday and took out several pieces of evidence.
Jaliek's adoptive father Stephen Kerr has been named a person of interest in the case, and police said he continues to be uncooperative.
Greenwich Police Chief George Bell said, "Certainly I wasn't met with open arms and said you are welcome to search in the house. Early on it wasn't a friendly conversation we had early on."
Kerr was the last known person to see Jaliek on November 1st when he disappeared. He believes Jaliek joined a gang in Albany.
Also on Thursday, state police dive teams searched parts of the Hudson River near Troy for any sign of the Jaliek.
