GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- YNN is following a report of a bear sighting in Glens Falls. According to police, a bear cub was first spotted on Sunday in Crandall Park, but has since moved to Grove Avenue where it has climbed up a tree.
Glens Falls Police are keeping onlookers a safe distance away, and are hoping the bear will climb down by itself. Currently, there have been no sightings of its mother. Wildlife bioligists said cubs could be having a hard time finding food in the wild, so they scower residential areas more frequently.
