SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Sacramento Kings guard and Glens Falls native Jimmer Fredette will be in the Capital Region this week to take part in the annual Jimmer Jam Basketball Camp.
The camp kicks off Monday at the Saratoga Springs Recreation Center on Vanderbilt Avenue and will run through Wednesday.
It's open to children ages eight to 18 and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
As he did last year, Fredette is expected to take part in many of the drills with those participants.
Fredette went to Glens Falls High School and later played basketball at BYU. He was a first round draft pick by the Sacramento Kings in 2011.
