TROY, N.Y. -- Another incident involving vandalism to the Uncle Sam statues in the city of Troy. Police say it happened overnight, this time to the statue in front of the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on the corner of Second and State streets.
The vandals stripped the bolts off of the base of the statue, but failed to take it down. It was an easy fix for crews repairing the statue Monday morning.
Only one arrest has been made in the vandalism incidents.
A total of four Uncle Sam Statues in downtown Troy have been damaged since they were installed.
