ROTTERDAM, N.Y.-- One of the three people involved in an arson case in Rotterdam pleaded guilty.
Larry Ahrens, 34, pleaded guilty to arson and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say Ahrens, along with Michael Chambers and Amy Brzoza, targeted a home in the High Bridge area of Rotterdam last year.
Police say the issue began when the victim became friends with Ahrens' ex-girlfriend. Police say they damaged the victim's home using a screwdriver in March and then a few days later targeted the home with an explosive.
They say a week later, another explosive was thrown. According to police, they caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the home.
Chambers and Brzozoa previously pleaded guilty. Ahrens is expected to receive 15 years in prison when he is sentenced October 10th.
