ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- The man arrested in South Carolina for robbing a bank in Slingerlands was brought back to the Capital Region to face charges.
Victor Shear pleaded not guilty to robbery and grand larceny in Bethlehem Town Court Tuesday. Shear is accused of robbing the Trustco Bank in Slingerlands back on August 21st.
Police say Shear dressed like a construction worker and walked out of the bank with more than one thousand dollars. He was arrested in South Carolina last week. He is also under investigation for a bank robbery in Sharon Springs.
Shear's case is now is being transferred to county court where he'll be in front of a judge Wednesday morning.
