COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The alligator that disappeared in New Lebanon last month has been found.
Rhonda Leavitt, who owns an alligator named Kobe, saw him in a pond Wednesday near her store. She then jumped into the pond to get him out.
Kobe disappeared on Thursday, August 21st.
Leavitt, who owns Rhonda's Reptiles on Mill Road near Route 20, told police her gator ran away while she was cleaning his cage.
Police will hold a press conference Thursday with details on the investigation.
