ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- The man accused of robbing a bank in Slingerlands was arraigned on robbery charges.
Victor Shear, 45, was arraigned Monday morning on first degree robbery charges. According to police, Shear walked into the TrustCo Bank on New Scotland Avenue in August and demanded money. They said he was armed with a gun.
Shear was arrested in South Carolina and waived extradition back to New York State. He plead not guilty and was sent to Albany County Jail without bail.
Police said Shear is also under investigation for a bank robbery in Sharon Springs.
