SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Testimony has begun in the manslaughter trial of a Clifton Park woman.
Traci Briskin is accused of running a stop sign in Charlton last November and hitting a car driven by Thomas Baker, 49, killing him. That crash happened on Jockey Street.
A grand jury indicted Briskin for manslaughter, two counts of vehicular manslaughter and two counts of DWI.
Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy says a jury was seated Tuesday and they began testimony in the afternoon.
The top count of the indictment, second degree manslaughter, carries a maximum sentence of five to 15 years in prison
