SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- A proposal for a third fire and EMS facility in Saratoga Springs has been presented.
The city council presented the plan for the $3 million project at Tuesday's council meeting. The 10,000 square foot facility would be located between Exit 14 of the Northway and the Route 9P intersection.
The new facility would decrease response time in the city's third district. A report regarding the proposal claims response time in that area can be as high as 13 minutes.
