GLOVESRVILLE, N.Y. -- A Gloversville man has been arrested for allegedly stealing drugs from Nathan Littauer Hospital.
Police say Todd Plummer, 23, stole an undetermined amount of morphine and other narcotics Sunday morning. Plummer had been at Nathan Littauer Hospital visiting a patient in the maternity ward when police say he went into a restricted room and stole the drugs off of an anesthesia cart.
Police say Plummer then left the hospital, but later returned under the influence of some type of narcotics.
"At that point in time, he was interviewed, secured and taken into custody, where the stolen narcotics were found on his person and in his vehicle and subsequently in his residence," said Gloversville Police Department Captain John Sira.
Plummer was charged with a number of crimes, including criminal possession of stolen property and remanded to Fulton County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
