CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- One local restaurant's expansion means a hefty donation to a good cause.
Delmonico's restaurant is opening up a new eatery in Clifton Park. They've turned their grand opening into a fundraiser for a local pediatric cancer foundation called
"Nick's Fight to be Healed."
One hundred percent of the proceeds from Tuesday night's event will be donated in memory of a local teen, Luke Romano, who lost his battle with cancer back in 2011.
Representatives of Delmonico's say they like to give back to the community that their business calls home.
"We're well received by the community partly because we give a lot to the community because we try to do anniversary parties every year and give all the proceeds to a local benefit," said James Monte, Vice President of Operations.
