COLONIE, N.Y. -- Republican candidate for Colonie Town Supervisor, Todd Drake, is once again calling for greater transparency following a tax increase in the town.
Drake is proposing a management plan that would track cash flow throughout Colonie. He says government must be transparent and accountable to voters.
"Would final address the serious concerns raised by the comptroller by creating great budget transparency, establishing an early warning system to alert town leader of potential fiscal trouble and to allow for proper financial adjustments be made," Drake said.
Drake is running against incumbent Paula Mahan in November.
