ALBANY, N.Y. - It's good news for drivers as the price of gas continues to drop across the country.
According to the latest Lundberg survey, the national average of a gallon of regular is $3.38, which is down nearly 14 cents in the past two weeks. It's the biggest two week drop since last November.
The drop in crude oil prices last month has been a factor in the price decrease as refiners have cut their prices to retailers. However, analysts say the price drop may not last much longer.
Looking at prices in the Capital Region, AAA reports drivers in Albany are paying about $3.60 a gallon, which is down four cents from last week. Drivers in Pittsfield are paying about $3.53.
