GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. -- A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday for a popular jewelry store in Gloversville.
Castiglione Gem Jewelers on North Main Street was recently renovated, and will reopen in honor of Lou Castiglione. He died earlier this year after a battle with prostate cancer.
The owner was well known for the commercials he ran during the Christmas season. They offered free jewelry if six inches of snow fell on New Year's Eve.
Castiglione Gem Jewelers is now run by Lou's son, Andrew.
