TROY, N.Y. -- A Troy man was arraigned on new charges Thursday after he interrupted his own court proceeding on Wednesday.
According to the Rensselaer County Clerk's office, Matthew Wasula was in court for a pre-trial hearing on two DWI charges. However, he proceeded to have several outbursts in court and had to be restrained by officers.
Wasula was arraigned and charged with resisting arrest, criminal contempt of court, and obstruction of governmental administration. The judge entered a not guilty plea for him.
Bail was set at $5,000 cash or bond. He is due back in court next week.
