GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- Police arrested a man they said walked out of Target wearing stolen hiking boots.
Glenville Police said Jeremy Bacon, 34, entered the Target on Saratoga Road, stole hiking boots, and tried to leave the store wearing the boots.
When an employee tried to stop Bacon, he hit the employee with a shopping bag and then tried to punch the employee. Bacon ran out of the store and drove south on Route 50, where he was later stopped in the Village of Scotia.
He faces robbery and larceny charges and was sent to the Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or bond.
