ALBANY, N.Y. -- The man accused of trying to abduct two women near an Albany bus stop has pleaded not guilty in Albany County Court.
Anthony Collins, 54, was arraigned on kidnapping and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say Collins tried to abduct two women earlier this month.
Officers say both incidents happened at the corner of Western Avenue and Partridge, by the UAlbany alumni quad.
Police say Collins used a folding knife in the first attempt, but did not use a weapon in the second.
Collins is being held at Albany County Jail without bail.
