ALBANY, N.Y. -- State Police on the thruway in Albany arrest two men for possession of illegal prescription drugs.
State Police arrested Stephen Booth, 24, of Latham and Thomas McCormick, 24, of Clifton Park after pulling them over for a lighting violation.
While the trooper was questioning Booth, he noticed McCormick trying to hide something. When he got out of the car, a bag of 257 Oxycodone pills fell from his waistband.
State Police found 14 more Oxycodone and 3 Alprazolam or Xanax pills, inside the car. McCormick is charged with two felonies, including criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell. He was arraigned in Albany City Court and sent to Albany County Jail to await a felony hearing.
Booth is facing a misdemeanor and violation and was given an appearance ticket.
