ALBANY, N.Y. -- Some Albany residents woke up Friday morning to find that their cars had been vandalized.
Police say the vandalisms happened at Dove and Elm streets in Albany in the overnight hours. About 15 to 20 vehicles were spray painted, had their windows broken and tires slashed.
Residents we spoke with say they were surprised it happened here.
"It's really disappointing to see this because we really think we live in the most vibrant neighborhood in Albany and to have this happen is just very depressing," said Claude Gruener.
Anyone who was a victim of the vandalism or saw anything suspicious is asked to call Albany police.
