KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A one of a kind store opened its doors in Kingston on Saturday.
Ulster County's Habitat for Humanity launched their new Re-Store on Route 28. Area residents and business owners can donate household goods, building materials and furniture to the new store. Those items are placed on the showroom floor for sale at affordable prices with the money going straight to the Habitat fund for building homes within the community.
The organization says it's a great way to raise extra funds for future projects. They hope to generate about $300,000 a year at the thrift-style store.
