WOODSTOCK, N.Y. -- The Woodstock Drum Boogie Festival was held on Saturday.
The event celebrated international drums and drummers, and featured several types of percussion music. It was all part of the effort by the Woodstock Chimes Fund to help put Ulster County on the map as a region for art and culture.
People who attended Saturday's festival were exposed to talents from around the world.
"Every group is extremely different and unique so that's the fun of percussion, and most people don't know about that variety so we're happy to expose people to something new," explained Gary Kvistad, Executive Producer Drum Boogie Festival.
The concert was free to the community, and is held every other year.
