People in Cold Spring are still on edge as the manhunt continues for Sang Ho Kim. YNN's Michael Howard has the latest.
COLD SPRING, N.Y. -- "I think he's hopped a ride someplace and he's way out of town," said Peter Dinatale, a Cold Spring resident.
On Saturday, police increased their presence as they continue looking for Sang Ho Kim in Putnam County, and at the Hudson Highlands State Park.
"They're looking in the woods right where we go hiking," said Krista King, a hiker.
She traveled from Queens to go hiking in the Hudson Valley. However, after learning about the manhunt, she questioned the safety of the trails.
King said, "There's a lot of hidden places on these trails so I always have that law and order fear."
"We're making decisions as a command team trying to do what's right and use out resources while at the same time keeping our focus on keeping everyone safe," said Putnam County Sheriff Donald Smith.
Dinatale took precautions earlier, and said life is slowly getting back to normal.
He said, "Going up the office, I flicked the lights on and made sure nobody was lurking in the corner but everything's okay."
