SULLIVAN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former Woodridge mayoral candidate in court for an assault charge was arrested again after police say he jumped out the court house window and ran away when the judge set bail.
Christopher Beatty was in court for an assault charge and officers say he ran away from authorities while he was being arraigned.
Officers say a K-9 caught up with Beatty and he was taken into custody again.
Police say Beatty had to be treated at the hospital first for injuries caused by the K-9.
