KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night in Kingston to unveil the plans for the high school's renovation.
The $137.5 million proposal includes upgrades to the six building campus that preserves the historical details of the facade.
According to district leaders, the aging infrastructure and inefficient systems are responsible for the majority of the maintenance costs. The proposal would remove some of the older facilities, and add some new facilities. Several of the remaining structures would also be renovated.
Tuesday's meeting will review the proposed capital improvements. There will also be representatives from the architecture firm available to answer questions.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the high school. The vote will be held December 10.
