NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- What better way to enjoy the fall season than shopping and eating outside on the Newburgh Waterfront?
With the Hudson River as a scenic backdrop, many came out Saturday to browse through antiques, crafts and artwork at the City of Newburgh Fall Festival. Shoppers also enjoyed many different foods from vendors as well.
The event, sponsored by the city's International Festival Committee, was a fundraiser for the 26th Annual International Festival.
"This is a beautiful day and it's a lot of nice vendors, interesting items and you gotta support Newburgh and it's just beautiful," said Cornwall resident Diane Decker.
The city's Deputy Mayor says the city hopes to make next year's festival an "extraordinary event."
