NEW YORK STATE -- Chobani announced it is taking some of its greek yogurt off the shelf at the grocery store.
The yogurt company has received concerns about swelling or bloating in some of the cups. The issue was traced back to a type of mold found in the dairy environment.
According to Chobani, the problem was found in less than five percent of its production. The issue has been limited to those cups that were produced in the company's Idaho factory.
If you have any Chobani yogurt products, you are urged to check the code. If your product has the code 16-012, and an expiration date between September 11 and October 7, you should contact Chobani's Customer Loyalty Team.
