SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The trial of a Saratoga County woman accused of murder has been postponed.
Joey Paul was accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend, Matthew Furlani, in July 2012. Her trial was supposed to begin in August, and was later postponed until October.
Now, Saratoga County District Attorney Jim Murphy said it has been postponed indefinitely while she undergoes a mental health evaluation.
Paul and Furlani shared an apartment in Schuylerville. She claims the shooting was an accident.
