SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords paid a visit to Saratoga Springs to attend a gun show.
You'll remember she survived an assassination attempt back in 2011.
She was joined Sunday Afternoon by her husband Mark Kelly, and New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
Giffords' visit is provoking strong reactions from people on both sides of the gun control debate.
Though a gun owner herself, Giffords' visit has some other gun owners worried that she's pushing for New York-style gun laws across the nation.
"Now is a time to come together, be responsible. Democrats, Republicans, Everyone. We must better stop fighting. Fight, fight, fight. Be bold, be courageous the nation is counting on you," Giffords said.
