ALBANY, N.Y. -- A women plead guilty Thursday after several hut and runs in Albany over the summer.
According to the district attorney's office, Shanikqua Thomas, 28, plead guilty to three counts of assault. Police say Thomas hit six people with her SUV after an argument back in August.
Officials say Thomas caused multiple serious injuries to three of the victims and they needed emergency surgery. Albany Police say Thomas left the scene but they eventually caught up with her.
The DA's office says Thomas faces a sentence of 15 to 18 years followed by 5 years of post release supervision.
