WOODSTOCK, N.Y. -- Woodstock residents and car enthusiasts got a glimpse of some classic British cars Sunday.
More than 50 cars from around the northeast filled the field outside the Woodstock Playhouse. Proceeds from the event benefit the playhouse and the New York Conservatory of the Arts Troupe.
The event featured a performance by the NYCA Troupe, a raffle and a bake sale.
The organizer of the event says this is a one of a kind fundraiser.
"British cars are British cars. First of all, some of the engineering, although it may be strange to some people, we think is awesome. Some of the designs are really different than any other cars. So we just love English cars. There's something about them," said event organizer Len Sapiro.
All the cars at Sunday's show were pre-1980 European cars.
