ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Nearly $2 million is on the way to Stewart International Airport. Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand announced the funding Monday.
The $1.9 million will be used to repair cracks in the runway and lay new lines once the runway is rehabilitated. The funding is part of the Airport Improvement Program. The program provides grants to public agencies for the planning and development of public-use airports.
